"My best friend is a statue" is an electronic book initiative of the College of Physiotherapists of the Community of Madrid in its campaign to prevent back pain in schoolchildren. The aim is to teach children the importance of knowing their body to develop healthy habits and prevent musculoskeletal problems in adulthood. Likewise it helps children to encourage healthy games learning how fun it is playing outdoors, in group and doing a physical activity to prevent childhood obesity and sedentary life style.
The original story is part of an extensive didactic material distributed by physiotherapists in schools and workshops. It tells the adventures of two friends who don’t play together when she becomes a statue, as she stops practicing healthy games.
